A party is not a party without Social Media, right? YES! How will you plan your social party (online and offline) on June 30, 2013?
I know, I know everyday is a Social Media Day party -for me, for you and for millions (or should I say billions) of people and business’ around the world. But, when there is a Proclamation dedicated special to social media- I’m psyched, excited and want to be in the know.
A few weeks ago I wrote a post about this same subject and as the official date get’s closer and closer it prompted to me to do some research about how Social Media Day 2013 is being celebrated, cultivated and flat out used as a promotional vehicle for business.

One thing I could do across my platforms on Social Media Day 2013 to promote my business is _____________________
Which one platform do I not find as much time to curate that I could dedicate to this day__________________
I have been ignoring some followers, connections etc. I will acknowledge/promote at least __________ of my connections and only focus on them throughout the day.
I will research online volunteer opportunities for a cause I enjoy and dedicate this day to doing just that.
I already use social media platforms (A, B or C) but I want to know how to use it at a more advanced level. Which will you choose to learn more about on this day?
I will do a self-audit of a couple social platforms and determine if I only post my own content (one person relationship) or if I interact regularly (building relationships) with people who have shown interest in me, my business, product or brand.
Mashable suggests initiating, planning and attending a meet-up. Find out if one is already scheduled in an area near you using Mashable search cities tool. This could be an opportunity to finally meet the face of the people you interact with online. Great connecting opportunity.
